Jocelyn’s deep love, respect, and fascination with healing modalities began in her late teens when she had the opportunity to attend an introductory massage course. That early exposure paved the way for her life path. In 2012, Jocelyn followed her passion and completed the 700 hour Spa Therapy Program at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts, graduating with honours.
Since beginning her practice, Jocelyn has worked with a wide range of human bodies in many stages of ability and health, in all shapes, sizes, and genders - including those who are transitioning. She has worked with athletes, cancer survivors, office workers, computer programmers, and elderly.
She recognizes each individual as unique and is dedicated to helping her clients reach their own specific wellness goals. Just as each individual is unique, she believes each session is unique. With a variety of modalities to draw upon, she works carefully with her clients and personalizes each session according to her client’s aims for well-being, be it self-care, increased sense of well-being, better body awareness, relaxation, reduction of aches and pains, decreased muscle tension, better flexibility, increased balance of body, mind, and spirit, or any combination thereof.
In her spare time, Jocelyn is an avid social dancer who also loves kayaking, playgrounds, the grace of trees, and a really good book (or three).
